El mundo de las cosas entre los wichís del Gran Chaco: Un estudio etnolingüístico

This book pursues three aims. Firstly, to provide a detailed and at the same time comprehensive picture of the "things" that the Wichi (in Bolivia, today better known as Weenhayek) produce, circulate and use, where "things" is a neutral and general term for what in anthropology and social sciences usually is called "material culture", "artefacts", "technology", "architecture", "furniture", "art", etc. The second aim of this book is to investigate the nature of these "things" for the actors themselves, i.e. to study the properties that the Wichí perceive in them, to understand the meanings they attribute to them, to grasp the classifications to which they subject them, and so on. Finally, this book seeks to offer a whole ethnography of the Wichí from an original perspective.
